Now that Valentine ?s Day is approaching, we?d like to ask for your opinion regarding the question is English the language of love? According to a recent Kaplan?s survey, there are strong arguments in favour of this as for instance 98% of EFL speakers think that having language skills is attractive.

Other interesting statistics are that 52% of EFL speakers have learned English to understand a celebrity or that 55% of EFL speakers have serenaded someone with an English language love song.

Has anyone famous inspired you to learn English so that you can understand them? The Kaplan?s study found that 22% of EFL speakers who said they learned English to understand a celebrity did so to follow what the US President was saying.

What about the music? Have you ever felt the need to learn English so that you can understand the lyrics of your favourite songs? You?re not the only one and for many people, the most inspirational musicians are Rihanna, Kate Perry, Eminem or Beyonce.
