Past Perfect Tense
- Rules ? Time expression of past time is used here with ?had? + third form of verb.
- Past perfect tense is used in complex sentence.
- in past perfect tense there are two sentences always joined with two words like ?before? or ?after?.
- Principal cause sentences always come with ?had? or third form of verb.
- subordinate cause come with subject + second form of verb.
Affirmative Sentences
- He had left India before independence.
- He had already gone.

Negative sentences
