Present indefinite tense



There are three kind of tenses 
  1. Present Tense
  2. Past Tense
  3. Future Tense
each form of tense has it s own structure.

Structure of the present tense
Present indefinite tense- it has four forms
  1. affirmative sentence
  2. negative sentence
  3. Interrogative sentence - affirmative
  4. Interrogative sentence - negative
Affirmatives Sentence
Rule
  1. Plural noun (I, we, you, they) - will come with first form of the verb
  2. Singular noun (he, she, it) ? Will come with first form of the verb with ?s? or ?es? like (work-works)
Example
  • I go to school.
  • They come to my home.
  • We go to temple.
  • I love my country.
Singular number
  • She goes to school.
  • He loves his country very much.
  • It works.
Negative sentence
  1. ?Do not? with plural noun ( I,we,you,they)
  2. ?does not? with singular noun.(He,she,it)
  • I do not go there.
  • They do not come here.
  • You do not listen me.
  • I do not like them.
Singular
  • She does not like him.
  • He does not go to market.
  • It doesn?t work nicely
  • She doesn?t dance.
  • Interrogative sentence
Interrogative Sentence - Affirmative
Rules
These sentence starts with ?wh? words (what, where, when, who, how )
Do, does + subject + first form of the verb
Example
  • Do I go to school?
  • Do I know you?
  • Do they go to school regularly?
  • Do you help the poor
Singular
  1. with ?do? ?does? verb will come without "s" or ?es?
  • Does she dance?
  • Does he read?
  • Does it work nicely?
Interrogative sentence- Negative
  1. if the sentence is negative in both condition singular or plural main verb ( do, does ) will come with "not" Example
  • Do I not go to school?
  • Do I not know you?
  • Do they not go to school regularly?
  • Do you not help the poor?
Singular
  • does she not dance?
  • Does she not know you?
  • Does he not read?
  • Does it not work nicely?
