SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE
1. Simple Present TenseThe simple present tense is used to discuss
permanent situations and the frequency of events.Use the simple present tense to indicate:
1. Routine actions
2. Facts
FORM:Positive:Subject + Verb1 + Objecte.g : I like fried rice, she likes nugget, they play football, he plays football.Negative: Subject + don't/doesn't + verb1 + objecte.g : I don't like rice, he doesn't like rice.Interrogative:Do/does + subject + verb1 + objecte.g : Am I like rice? Does she like rice? Are they like nugget? Please pay attention to negative form, when subject
(he/she/it) + doesn't, the verb1
doesn't need to add -s/-es, because it was
representative to the negative words (doesn't).

Every Monday and Thursday I go to the gym.
We also use the simple present
to ask for and give instructions or to discuss a series of actions.for example :
Question: How do I make pancakes?
Answer : Well, first you take 4 eggs and crack them into a bowl, then you weigh out 4 oz. of flour and sieve it into the eggs. etc.
