1. Simple Present Tense
The simple present tense is used to discuss permanent situations and the frequency of events.
Use the simple present tense to indicate:
1. Routine actions
2. Facts
FORM:
Positive:
Subject + Verb1 + Object
e.g : I like fried rice, she likes nugget, they play football, he plays football.
Negative:
Subject + don't/doesn't + verb1 + object
e.g : I don't like rice, he doesn't like rice.
Interrogative:
Do/does + subject + verb1 + object
e.g : Am I like rice? Does she like rice? Are they like nugget?
Please pay attention to negative form, when subject (he/she/it) + doesn't, the verb1 doesn't need to add -s/-es, because it was representative to the negative words (doesn't).

The boys ring the doorbell.
